Audrey is out officially out of her brace!!!! The doctor said her hip looks great! She was in this last brace for almost six months. Audrey was suppose to go to the doctor on Wednesday to have her hip checked. We ended up going a couple of days before that because she started getting out of it herself the week before. We would hear her playing in her bed when she was suppose to be taking a nap and all the sudden we would hear her undo her velcro on her brace. I was worried because she never could get quite all the way out of it and I was afraid she'd get tangled up in it weird. She must have just known that she was suppose to be done with it. It has been so nice not having to put it on her. She has a little bit of an adjustment going to sleep without it. She hasn't been as good about taking her naps because she has so much more freedom to move around and play in her bed! She has to go back in 6 months to make sure everything is still OK. We are so glad that she is done with her brace and hope that she won't have any problems in the future.

That is so nice that you have that over. Isn't it amazing what doctors can do. We are happy for you all and especially for your cute little girl.
Yea!!! No more brace...She probably feels so free, now she can start climbing!

such a relief when you hear the words "normal" from a doctor. tell her congrats on her hip:) glad its better! i don't know how much more those chubby thighs could have taken:)
Glad she is brace free. . . .and, hey, if she will play quietly during naptime, I'd take it! Naptime isn't so much about the baby as it is the mom!
Hi!! I have missed you! YAY! So glad to hear she is done with it. What a little trooper, that was a long time! She's getting so big... ahhh!
