Before we had Audrey her room was used to put our food storage in! The room never really got used and we hardly ever went in there. I would have never made it the baby room if I had known it had the NOISIEST RATTLING PIPES ever inside the walls!!! Anytime you turn on any water in our house the pipes rattle in her room. We have a monitor on in our room at night. If we turn on the faucet or flush the toilet you can hear the pipes rattle!! When we first moved her into her own room I would wake up frequently worrying about her (yes, I'm a paranoid new mom). I don't know about most of you but when I wake up in the night I usually have to go to the bathroom. I always thought it was coincidence that when I would get up and go to the bathroom she would wake up! Darn those RATTLING PIPES!!!! This has been driving Jason and I crazy!!! The RATTLING PIPES wake her up frequently! If she is asleep we usually don't flush the toilet, unless it is completely necessary (you know what I mean :) ).
So....last Saturday Jason had had enough!!! He was on a mission to fix the RATTLING PIPES!!! He went up in the attic to try and fix them but couldn't because they are actually inside the walls in her room. So, he went to Home Depot and got some stuff that he could squirt into the wall that would expand inside and stop the RATTLING PIPES!!! It didn't work!! We still have RATTLING PIPES!!!
Monday I came home from the grocery store and found this coming out the wall in my laundry room. 
Apparently the stuff Jason got to put in the walls expanded a little to much and busted right through the wall. Now we have a hole in the wall to fix, and we still have RATTLING PIPES!!!!!!!!

OH MY Heidi!! That is no good... now what are you gonna do bout them RATTLING PIPES?!?! hee hee That is so sad that stuff came out through the wall, holy cow!! Bummer. Well now you are gonna have to do a post about how you solve this problem...I will be curious to see how that works out for ya!! ;)
OH MY GOSH! Heidi, what a nightmare! How can that be?!! And it got worse. Good luck with that one. It's so not funny, but who woulda thought??
Shoot!!! Don't know quite what to say about that. But I probably would have been freaking out if I came home and saw yellow goo coming out of my wall.
That is something Wayne would do. It was worth a try though. The things we do for a litte peace.
Nate told him only to put one can of foam in, didn't he put in 3! I guess these are the stories that make life fun, huh? I hope you will be able to fix the rattling soon.

oh man!! that stinks. but just to make you feel better we have the same problem. our bathroom shares the wall to the nursery right where the crib is. so we don't flush either, unless we have to. and lots of times i'll go downstairs to wash my face if it's late. the things we do to keep those babies sleeping!
Heidi, I am sorry for laughing, but I am. That is so crappy about the pipes and the hole in the wall, but pretty funny nevertheless. Poor Jason. Was he so mad?
